TheMaineBlogspot.com

If you’re anything like me, you know how hard it is to dress cute while leaving room for comfort after round 3 of the Thanksgiving feast. Well luckily, I’ve gone through enough trial and error to give you all my best Turkey Day outfit ideas that won’t leave you feeling like a button is ready to pop after your third slice of pie!

Below are 3 Turkey Day outfit ideas that you can use this year:

1. Maxi Skirt and Chunky Sweater

You really can’t go wrong with a maxi skirt and chunky sweater combo. It’s the perfect cross between stylish and comfort! The chunky sweater is really the key to not feel exposed after your Thanksgiving feast and the maxi skirt helps with the stylistic portion of the outfit.

This is a combination that can be done in various ways: layer it up with a leather jacket on top, dress it down with sneakers instead of boots, play around with textures of the skirt and sweaters - the options are endless! This is a good foundation for an outfit that you feel comfortable in while making it your own!

2. Loose-Fit Jeans, Baby Tee, and a Button-Up Cardigan

This is another outfit idea that can be done a variety of ways, but a solid foundation for a comfy Turkey Day fit.

Loosely fit pants or jeans are the way to go if you’re like me and want to leave room for all the delicious food. The above photo is a great example of a perfectly loose fit pair of jeans that can be styled to look put-together. The structured fit and collar on the cardigan as well as the platform boots help pull off a cohesive looking outfit that’s casual, stylish, and comfortable!

3. Maxi Dress and Oversized Blazer

Lastly, a silky satin maxi dress paired with an oversized blazer is a great balance between dressing up while still keeping it casual. Similar to the other outfit ideas, this can be seen as a good foundation for a Turkey Day outfit and can be done many different ways.

For instance, try a ribbed knit maxi dress instead of a silky satin one or even try boots instead of sneakers! You can really make any of these outfits your own.
